An intake valve of the heavy-duty truck is a crucial component in the valve system. It is made of reinforced metallic material that can bear different conditions of the combustion chamber. All intake valves are applied in managing the flow of gases and the entry of the air through the combustion chamber. What’s more, the intake valve is made to have a slender stem that can form into a flatter face, and the intake valves are usually bigger than the exhaust valves. Every intake valve is designed for moving up and down, not side to side. When the intake valve closes, it is firmly fixed to the valve seat so as to stop the air from flowing. By contrast, when the intake valve opens, it can have the access to air and let it flow through. Generally speaking, every cylinder has two intake valves going with two exhaust valves.
