A clutch release bearing acts as the truck part that transmits or switches off the driving force. When the driving force is switched off, the clutch release bearing starts to rotate all of a sudden because of a strong force that comes from the high-speed rotating spring. Once there is a gap existing between the rotating diaphragm spring and the clutch release bearing, the contacting surface is extremely likely to generate heat which may vastly affect the function of the clutch.
